支援費と介護保険 「統合反対」訴え 障害者らデモ／大阪

身体、知的障害者を対象にした「支援費制度」について、厚生労働省が財源不足を理由に介護保険制度との統合を検討しているのを受け、府内の障害者団体などが三日、北区の扇町公園で「統合反対」を訴える集会を開催。関西各地から約千三百人が集まり、難波まで約五キロをデモ行進した。
支援費制度は昨年度スタート。障害者自らが福祉サービスを選んで利用できる制度で、障害者団体などは、統合によってサービス利用が制限されると懸念。
会場には、「障害者の声を聞いて」などとプラカードを掲げた人たちが集結。ＮＰＯ大阪障害者自立生活協会理事長の楠敏雄さんは「国の施策には全く一貫性がない」と訴えた。
