日野市の施設で入浴中に水死 両親が４６００万円損賠請求＝多摩
日野市の知的障害者更生施設「七生福祉園」で入浴中に死亡した佐藤進さん（当時三十四歳）の両親が二十五日、同園を運営する都社会福祉事業団などを相手取り、総額約四千六百万円の損害賠償を求める訴訟を東京地裁に起こした。
訴えによると、同園に入所していた佐藤さんは今年一月、一人で入浴中、浴槽にうつぶせで浮いているのを職員に発見された。死因は水死だった。両親は「福祉園の職員が、入浴状況の確認を怠ったのが死亡原因」などと主張している。
訴えに対し、同園の渡辺正男園長は「訴状を見てから今後の対応を考えたい」と話している。
