強盗殺人：女性殺害の男に懲役１５年 福岡地裁
福岡市東区で昨年８月、同じ知的障害者授産施設に入所の女性（当時３２歳）を殺害し、金を奪ったとして強盗殺人罪に問われた福岡県前原市白糸、無職、西島栄治被告（２６）に対する判決が２４日、福岡地裁であった。陶山博生裁判長は「動機は身勝手で酌量の余地はないが、背景に性についてタブー視する施設の問題もある」として懲役１５年（求刑無期懲役）を言い渡した。
判決によると、西島被告は８月１２日午前１０時４０分ごろ、東区の祖母宅で女性の背中や胸などを包丁で刺して失血死させたうえ、現金約１万４０００円を奪った。施設では入所者同士の交際は事実上禁止されていたが、被告は別の女性と交際しており、被害女性が施設側にこれを暴露することを恐れて犯行に及んだ。
陶山裁判長は「以前、別の女性との性的関係が施設に発覚した際『今度すれば退園させる』と警告を受けており、性について誰にも相談できなかった」と施設側の問題を指摘し、刑を減軽した。【笠井光俊、栗田亨】
